Hey there!
If you have a pool this is something you may feel identified with. We recently had a customer reach out to us because their pool started to turn an interesting shade of green. They had tried to sanitize it, but unfortunately, it was as stubborn as a mule and wouldn’t turn clear.
We totally get it, sometimes pool maintenance can seem like a pretty straight forward process, but it can quickly spiral out of control if you’re not careful.
That’s why we always recommend following the Trinity for a Pristine Pool. It’s simple really, just remember to prioritize Cleaning, Circulation, and Chemical Balance. Each one is just as important as the other, and together they make for a beautiful, crystal clear swimming experience.
Here are a few tips to keep in mind:
- Let your pool pump run for at least 8 hours a day. This helps to keep the water moving and prevent any bacteria or algae from taking hold.
- Remember that still water is the perfect environment for these pesky pool problems to thrive, so keep things circulating as much as possible.
- Don’t forget to backwash your sand filter or clean your cartridges regularly. This helps to remove any debris or buildup that could be contributing to the pool’s less-than-pristine state.
- And finally, consistency is key! Make sure to maintain your pool at least twice a week to keep the Trinity in balance and your water crystal clear.
With a little TLC and some good old-fashioned pool know-how, we’re confident that your green pool will be a distant memory in no time. Happy swimming!
